530K steps in 60 days

This post is just to motivate people to be fit and active. We sometimes become sluggish and have ‘couch potato’ lifestyle. I just wanted to share you , I have covered 530k steps during these 2 months. I walked 374 km in 2 months. I know this number is not too big. Average comes around 8.8k steps per day. It was really tough on my part to maintain it despite having a hectic schedule at office. We had a healthy competition between our cousins. They used to comment me “bhaiya aap bharat jodo yatra pe nikle ho kya ” 😛

I took 2 months gym membership. I didn’t want to take gym membership of 6 months or 1 year and be inconsistent. I wanted to take for 1 or 2 months be consistent, and then decide if I can prolong the membership.

I consistently hit Gym for 2 months. I tried to walk whenever possible. I focussed both on strength training and cardio. Initially I was lifting weights randomly. Then I thought to seek help of a professional trainer (Ashish da). This was really a game changer. But mind you it is tough as well to train under a gym trainer. The expectation is too much from them 🙂 They don’t let you cheat in set repititions.

I have shared the pic where my fat % is around 18. I was 69.5 kg in the month of April. Now I am 66.05 kg in the month of Aug.

But its not the end of journey.

The next target – To be consistent till Dec 31st 2024 🙂 Lets see how it progresses.

So if I can do why not you ? If not gym , at least walk 🤝
